Пусть в первый день [праздника будет] у вас священное собрание, и в седьмой день — священное собрание: никакая работа не должна делаться [в эти дни]. Лишь то, что необходимо для [приготовления] пищи, можно вам делать [в эти дни].
Соблюдайте праздник мацы, ведь в этот самый день Я вывел ваши воинства из земли египетской. Соблюдайте же этот день из поколения в поколение, [как] вечный закон.
С четырнадцатого дня первого месяца, [начиная] с вечера, до вечера двадцать первого дня того же месяца — ешьте мацу.
